The Potluck will be at 6:30 on Saturday night. Please plan on bringing your dish to the big tent shortly before 6:30. Drop off your food and then get on line.
We’re hoping that everyone chips in generously this year and we can avoid the problems from previous years... like the family of five who brought one box of donuts and then filled their plates to the point of overflow or the "I can’t cook" guys who didn’t donate ANYTHING.
1. At a minimum, bring at least DOUBLE what your own party will be eating. Another suggestion was made to provide no less than 10-15 servings.
2. It easiest if you serve your food in a disposable pan or platter and please provide a serving utensil that you won’t mind losing if you can’t find it after the party. (In the past, however, non-disposable items are still sitting on the serving tables the next day.)
3. Donate a liter of soda or juice, especially if you have kids. We’ll provide paper cups.
4. THIS IS IMPORTANT: Have YOUR OWN plate and utensils when you get in line. If you forget, you’ll have to go back to your camp and get them, sucker!
Any kind of BBQ is always welcome...carne asada, ribs, burgers or hot dogs on buns, chicken parts, sausage. Salads are great...potato, pasta or green. Desert offerings are always appreciated as an extra.
Now, if this doesn’t work...next year there will be an 8-foot high chain link fence topped with razor wire put up around the food tent and you’ll have to provide a picture ID along with your food donation in order to obtain a non-refundable ticket that will allow you to enter.

Undercover Food Police will be watching your Family closely incase you put down donuts and pick up someone elses offering, like re-gifting.
